Branksome Hall Toronto Master Plan

Founded in 1903, Branksome Hall, an independent school for girls, had accumulated 13 acres of land and buildings over five decades in an exquisite ravine setting.

In 2000, &Co was commissioned to design a Master Plan to guide the future development of this unique campus in the heart of Toronto made up of architecturally diverse, historic residential buildings, large playing fields on a lower plain, the Rosedale Valley Ravine edge and a mixture of handsome open spaces.  The Master Plan identified key landscape and architectural projects for the school’s Centennial Campaign.

&Co also obtained an Official Plan Amendment and a comprehensive rezoning for the entire Branksome campus and laid out a plan to accommodate new program requirements within the framework of the rezoned lands.

&Co has since been involved in projects such as the Junior School Commons, Principal’s House, Coach House and dozens of significant school upgrade projects.
